Trust10 Trail Run at Woodchester Park

Join us to run a beautiful 10K trail run around the historic parkland at Woodchester Park

  • Booking not needed
  • Free event

***Information for those attending***

When arriving at Tinkley Gate, look out for the Trust10 feather flag. Come to the area in front of the bookshop and cafe for pre-run info.

This is not a timed event, so if timing is important for your running, please bring your own device.

We do not recommend under 14s to run. 14-16 years old to be accompanied by an adult.

If you're running with your dog, please let us know at the pre-run safety briefing. Ensure that all waste is picked up and please use a lead and harness that ensures the safety and health of your dog and other runners.

***

Join us at Tinkley Gate for the recurring Woodchester Park Trust10 10K trail run.

Taking place on the 4th Sunday of every month, this is a free event with no booking necessary - just turn up ready to run. Gates will open from 8:30 though there is no need to arrive much earlier than 9:00. There is a pre-run safety briefing before every event at 9:20, please make sure you arrive in time to attend this.

The route will take you through some of the most stunning elements of Woodchester Park. From easier flat sections to challenging hilly terrain, there's something for all runners of every ability - we are welcoming novice and experienced runners alike to enjoy the Woodchester Park surroundings.

Once you return to Tinkley Gate, the café will be open for snacks and hot drinks. Lunch will also be available with pizzas starting at 12pm.

We look forward to seeing you.

Times

The basics

Meeting point

Meet at Tinkley Gate. Gates open at 8:30, mass-start at 09:30am. Then a rolling start from 9:30-10 for those that want to avoid the crowd. W3W: confident.request.certified

What to bring and wear

Come wearing running clothes and bring your own water bottle - there is a refill station available at Tinkley Gate café. We recommend trail-running shoes for rough terrain.

Accessibility

The route is currently not suitable for those with access needs.

Other

There is a maximum limit of 200 Trust 10 runners. Please be aware that if this limit is reached then you may be turned away on busy days. We would love for everyone to be able to run but have settled on this number due to our current carpark size, conservation of the park and Trust10 staff capacity. Bear in mind the waymarkers will stay in place so you can come and run the trail yourself any other time.
