Bodyscape Dance Workshop

A dance workshop exploring choreography in the natural landscape around us, set against views of the Cotswold landscape at Tinkley Gate, Woodchester Park.

  • Booking essential

Last year BODYSCAPE DANCE spent 5 months in residency at the National Trust site Tinkley Gate, Woodchester Park. Using improvised techniques and exercises the group witnessed seasonal changes, spending time tuning into the landscape.

This workshop will be lead by BODYSCAPE dancers; Jemima Bennett, Rebecca Stapleford and Juliana Avila.

This workshop will explore what choreography the landscape holds and how the body may be able to translate this into movement. How nature can deeply influence our patterns of movement and what can be learned from slowing down and listening to our environment.
