Summer of Play - Recycled Instruments Workshop
Tin can shakers, bottle top rattles... craft instruments out of some recycled materials and make some noise.
- Booking essential
Learn how to make a variety of instruments and noise-makers out of recycled materials collected by staff and volunteers.
Decorate and embellish your instruments until they look as good as they sound.
Once you've finished crafting the group will take an optional, 15-20 minute walk to the Musical Nature Notes area and do a dramatic reading of a children's book set to music together.

- Accessibility
For more information about accessibility at Tinkley Gate, view our 'accessibility at Woodchester Park' article.
- Other
The event is at the Tinkley Gate entrance to Woodchester Park. There are two car parks for Woodchester Park. One is called Buckholt and the other is called Tinkley Gate. The brown signs direct you to Buckholt rather than Tinkley Gate. If you have access to google maps, then typing in "Tinkley Gate National Trust Car Park" will take you to the correct entrance. If you follow Tinkley Lane between Nympsfield and Nailsworth, then look out for two colourful banners on the same side of the road that mark the entrance to Tinkley Gate Car Park. 1 booking equals 1 crafter, each crafter can be accompanied by up to 3 others.
