Spot helpful signage, sharing fascinating facts about our blossom trees, and take advantage of mindful moments beneath the blossom as we invite you to sit and pause, look around at nature in full bloom and be inspired by Poet Laureate Simon Armitage and his band LYR, reading his poetry and sharing music to celebrate the arrival of Spring.

Free family fun

In the house, take part in a spotter activity to find the felt ladybirds. Within the house, head for the Lower Corridor by the Old Kitchen Cafe for origami, blossom poems and a simple paper blossom badge to make and take home.

Find blossom and beauty from the moment you arrive at Mottisfont with pretty blooms decorating Visitor Reception and the cafes plus blossom themed treats, goodies and pin badges for sale in the shop.

Taste the season

Delve into Spring inspired scones of the month in our cafes. In March, enjoy lemon and white chocolate and throughout April try our almond simnel scone. May sees raspberry and ginger scones in the limelight!

Do good

Visitors can purchase a blossoms pin badge from Visitor Reception, the Shop, and the House. The suggested donation for blossom pin badges is £3. Money from the sale of pin badges helps fund projects at Mottisfont. With a new design for 2026, add to your pin badge collection and treat yourself to a blossom pin badge featuring a trio of pink blossoms.

Add to the Mottisfont Blossom Memories Tree

Complete your Blossom Time visit to Mottisfont by jotting your favourite memory about blossom upon a blossom petal. Hand your petal to a member of the shop team, to be hung upon the memory tree. The tree will fill with petals bearing your memories, and heavy with bloom by the end of the season.
