  • Booking essential
  • Free event (admission applies)

Don't miss this extra special opportunity to river dip at Mottisfont, with Wessex Rivers Trust.

The session will take place close to the bridge, just downstream of the fishing hut (number 33 on the Mottisfont map) Please meet your guide here at least 5 minutes before the start of the session – the fishing hut is about a 15 minute walk from Mottisfont Visitor Reception.

River dipping is bookable on the day, at Visitor Reception.

Please note, there must be at least one adult per family attending the session, ensuring all children are accompanied.

Water shoes, crocs, welly boots or an old pair of trainers must be worn by children and adults getting into the river – there will be a small number of water shoes available to borrow. Getting in the river will depend on the water depth, the age/height of the children and whether they have suitable footwear. The river is adult shin deep once away from the access-in point.

Suitable footwear is essential.

Spaces are limited, bookable on the day, and allocated on a first come, first served basis.
