This September, as part of Heritage Open Days, we're opening the doors to Mottisfont's maids' rooms for a glimpse into life behind the scenes.

Discover the everyday work of the staff who kept a grand country house running smoothly. Explore the servants' living quarters, learn about their daily routines, and meet some of the colourful characters who lived and worked at Mottisfont.
Join us to uncover the stories of the people whose hard work made life in the house possible – and celebrate the Everyday Histories that are often overlooked.
