Sea Shanties from The Navy Larks

Enjoy live sea shanties sung by The Navy Larks, the Salisbury Sea Shanty Crew.

  • Booking not needed
  • Free event (admission applies)

The Navy Larks are a group of stout hearted fellows from the land-locked City of Salisbury in Wiltshire who enjoy singing shanties and songs of the sea. Formed over 10 years ago, the crew perform to a wide variety of audiences, all in support of charity.

Under the directorship of Kate Edgar, the ever-growing setlist comprises traditional shanties, unique arrangements of other ‘songs of the sea’ and their own special compositions.

Our nominated charities include the RNLI and the Parkinsons UK. In addition, we perform in support of local organisations who care for vulnerable groups in society.

The Navy Larks have a strong link to Salisbury’s twinned cities of Saintes (France – visited in 2019) and Xanten (Germany – visiting in 2024).

Donations are warmly welcomed, to support the work of the RNLI.
