Bring your camping chairs, picnics, blankets and torches to The Vyne's north lawn for this Shakespearian classic. A kiosk will be open serving refreshments before the performance and during the interval.
Pitcher’s acclaimed credits include Gypsy (UK Theatre Award for Best Musical Production) and My Fair Lady at The Mill at Sonning, and Macbeth at the Salomons Theatre, Tubridge Wells. Returning to the company following Macbeth (2025), this vibrant production also features original music by composer Rob Millett (Rambert Dance Company and The Royal Opera House, The National Theatre and Shakespeare’s Globe). Recommended for ages 7+. Assistance dogs only are welcome.
Running time: 2 hours, including a 15 minute interval.

Once you've shown your ticket, follow the main path to the north lawn.
- What to bring and wear
It might be summer, but the evenings can get chilly. Bring jumpers to pull on as the temperature lowers and wear comfortable outdoor clothing. Please bring a picnic and something to sit on.
- Accessibility
This performance is held on a grassed area. There is a small slope as you come off the gravel path and head to the performance.
- Other
It's about a 10 minute walk from the visitor car park to the north lawn. You'll need to be able to carry your chairs and picnics up so make sure your things aren't too heavy.
