Join a one-hour tour and hear about the family’s interactions with Jane Austen.

Tours take place every Wednesday and Saturday between Saturday 29 March until Sunday 2 Nov at 2.30-3.30pm
No pre-booking required but spaces are allocated on a first come first serve basis. £5 per person. Normal admission applies. Purchase your tickets on arrival at Visitor Reception.

The basics
- Suitability
This tour is recommended for ages 12+
- Meeting point
Purchase your tour ticket and pay normal admission at Visitor Reception. Then follow the main path up to the house entrance on the South Drive and show your ticket on the door.
- What to bring and wear
As there's a 10-minute walk from the visitor carpark through the gardens to the house entrance, you'll need to dress for the weather and wear comfortable shoes.
- Accessibility
Tour explores parts of the ground and first floors of the house. There is no lift, but as far as possible we will accommodate any accessibility needs. If there's anything you'd like to discuss with us beforehand, please call 01256 883858.

Gates open 3pm, performance 3.30-4.30pm: Back by popular demand, enjoy this one-woman performance imagining Jane Austen's thoughts and inner debates during an intense event in her life that is often overlooked.
