Turn the Quern! Family Activity

A fun family event where you can learn the ancient milling techniques with our knowledgeable volunteers.

Come and have a go at using the quern this half-term, an ancient device for grinding grain, and learn all about milling and why it's such a fun tradition for everyone.

This is a free event although we do welcome donations to help us look after City Mill.

Please note these events are volunteer lead and can be subject to change on short notice.
