Programme highlights include:
Madrigals and part songs – All Creatures Now (Bennet), Sweet Suffolk Owl (Vautor), and Stanford’s serene The Blue Bird
Romantic & modern treasures – Monteverdi’s Sfogava con le Stelle, Barber’s Heaven Haven, Elgar’s Prince of Sleep, and Vaughan Williams’ Rest
Choral gems – Haec Dies (Byrd), Taverner’s The Lamb, and Parry’s There Rolls the Deep
Light and lyrical favourites – A Nightingale Sang in Berkeley Square, Blue Moon, Autumn Leaves, and What a Wonderful World
Set against the historic backdrop of this 14th-century manor, the concert will showcase the choir’s versatility in a unique and intimate setting.
