How The Woods Were Saved - Walk and Talk

Explore the woods and learn about how they were saved and conserved for future generations.

  • Booking not needed
  • Free event

Land-hungry builders during the 1920’s, attracted by Petts Wood and Hawkwood, endangered our woodlands. We learn about those who acted to secure its conservation and future, and visit parts of the woodland that help tell that story. Chris Wells, Chair of the National Trust Petts Wood & Hawkwood committee, leads this walk.
