A Fairytale Christmas at Scotney Castle (21 November - 3 January)

This festive season, step into a fairytale Christmas at Scotney Castle.

  • Booking not needed
  • Free event (admission applies)

Explore magical decorations in the Mansion inspired by our favourite fairytales, late night twinkling illuminations and a gingerbread outdoor trail.

We are also offering delicious bookable lunches in the Coach House Team Room between 30 November and 18 December. Menu and bookings will be available nearer the time.

The festive magic continues into the evening with our Late Nights & Lights events on 12th, 13th, 18th - 21st December, and our free Community Night for local residents on 11th December.

As dusk falls, the mansion glows with beautiful illuminations, the shop stays open for relaxed, stress-free gift shopping, and the tea-room serves warming drinks and seasonal treats—perfect for a cosy evening stroll.

Note: There is low-light in the Mansion, decorations will cover the ground floor and half of the first floor. The number of visitors allowed inside the Mansion is capped for fire regulations so there may be a short queue for entry.
