Do you want to grow your own vegetables but just don’t know where to start?
Join Sissinghurst Vegetable Gardener Olivia Steed-Mundin for this masterclass on how to grow a vegetable garden that will produce fresh bountiful vegetables all season long.
Learn about planning, variety selection, and succession planting. As well as the basics around managing pests and diseases, companion planting and managing your soil, with examples from Sissinghurst’s organic Vegetable Garden.
Afterwards, you will be guided through how to create a planting scheme with plenty of opportunities to ask questions. A light lunch will be provided as part of the event. Please let us know of any dietary restrictions while booking.
The price of the ticket includes entry to the site, car parking, a light lunch, hot drinks, and all day tutelage.

- What to bring and wear
This event takes place mostly indoors with a walk outside to the vegetable garden. Please wear comfortable clothing to sit in and warm clothing to go outside in.
