Plant Fair 2026

The White Cliffs of Dover Plant Fair is your opportunity to revitalise your garden, window box or window ledges with top-quality plants at bargain prices. Lovingly tended by our volunteers, these plants will satisfy the most discerning gardener.

  • Booking not needed
  • Free event

Our huge marquee will once again grace level 2 parking and will be filled with plants of all descriptions. From flowers to vegetables, annuals to perennials and some exotics too; whatever the size of your plot or planter, we've something for you. Our volunteers will be on hand to help you choose the plants that are right for you, and we'll even help you to carry them to your car.

Cash and card/e-wallet payments are accepted at the marquee.

No booking is needed; admission is free. Normal parking charges apply - National Trust members can park for free.

The basics

Suitability

Supervised children are welcome

Meeting point

Come to the marquee on level 2 parking behind the visitor centre. Parking on this level will be reserved for Blue badge holders.

What to bring and wear

Please bring sufficient boxes and bags to carry your purchases. All our boxes and trays are reused for growing and transporting, year after year, and we have none to spare.

Accessibility

Car park level 2 has a hard, gravel surface which should be suitable for most wheelchairs and mobility scooters. Level entry into the marquee.

Other

Toilets and refreshments are available at the Visitor Centre, which is nearby. Please be aware that access to the Visitor Centre from the Plant Fair involves a narrow path or the access road, both of which are moderately steep. Those with limited mobility should consider parking on level 1, close to the Visitor Centre to use the facilities, then, if necessary, moving to the accessible parking on level 2 to visit the plant fair.
