With the varied gardens, watermill, pop-up café and surrounding woodlands and countryside estate to explore, there's something for everyone to enjoy at Acorn Bank. Find out all you need to know about arranging a group visit with us today.

Admission prices and payment

National Trust members & National Trust for Scotland members: Free
Non-members, Adult £9; Child £4.50

We recommend that you allow at least 45 minutes to view the garden and the same again for the watermill and estate.

Pop-up café

Our food and drink is provided by local business Lakeland Coffee in the courtyard, and is open Thursday to Monday, 10.30am–4pm (closed Tuesday and Wednesday). It offers a selection of cakes and pastries, freshly made paninis, snacks, and hot and cold drinks.

Please let us know if your group will be having lunch and/or refreshments in the café, as this would help us to plan for your visit. Unfortunately we’re unable to take bookings for lunch, but we endeavour to serve people as quickly as possible but visitors should be aware that, particularly at busy times, there can be a queue and we appreciate your patience.

Guided tours

If you would like a guided tour then please clearly mark this on your booking form. All guided tours are subject to availability and cannot be guaranteed unless pre-booked. Please note that there is a maximum of 15 people allowed on both the garden and mill tours. If there are more than 15 members in your group that wish to go on a tour then please let us know and we are able to discuss options to accommodate your group.
