Join National Trust staff on a two hour guided walk through the peaceful Stonethwaite Valley and discover how local farmers are helping to care for this special place.

Learn about National Trust farms in the Lake District and how the landscape is managed by farmers working together to restore nature in the Borrowdale Rainforest National Nature Reserve.

Along the way, we will explore traditional management of the fells and hear about ambitious projects such as the Stonethwaite river restoration.

This event is funded by the Lake District National Park Farming in Protected Landscapes Programme.
