Make a rustic greenwood bench or simple stool using hand tools. You’ll learn how to use axes, drawknives and hand augers to split and shape ash wood for the legs and drill your plank top before using oak wedges to assemble your bench. Your creation will be ready to take home and will look fantastic indoors or out.

What to bring and wear

Comfortable clothing that you don't mind getting sawdust on and sensible shoes that cover your toes.

Accessibility

Drop-off point. Wheelchair accessible. Accessible toilet. Access to woods via steep steps or a medium slope.

We will be using sharp tools. Price i£70 plus £35 for materials.
