Join us for a special after-hours tour around the house when it is decorated for Christmas. Inspired by Arthurian legend come and see the decorations which are full of knights, wizards, and dragons. They are even more atmospheric in the evening!

Join us for a special after-hours tour around the house when it is decorated for Christmas. Inspired by Arthurian legend come and see the decorations which are full of knights, wizards, and dragons. They are even more atmospheric in the evening! After the tour warm up with a mulled cider or hot chocolate and a mince pie, included in the ticket price. Please note that the shop and tea-room will be closed upon arrival as this event takes place outside of our normal operating hours.

This tour is not exhaustive of all the decorated areas: the rest of the decorated areas can be visited as part of a normal standard daytime visit.

Please dress for the weather - the walk from the car to the house will be chilly and over uneven ground. The house is cold at this time of year, and has steps and uneven surfaces.

Visit Canons Ashby to enjoy the beautiful gardens, the historic house, the medieval church and green outdoor spaces. On Saturday enjoy live clarinet music, or on Sunday have a close up, hands-on look at our nature items, for kids or adults.
