Guided countryside walks
Fancy some fresh air? Join us once a month from July to October to explore our surrounding countryside on a guided 6-mile walk.
- Booking not needed
- Free event
On the fourth Thursday of every month from July to August and in October, come and explore our surrounding countryside on a 6-mile walk. Enjoy the fantastic views and get out in the fresh air with our volunteer guides.
Please wear sturdy walking footwear and come prepared for the weather. Do bring refreshments with you as we stop for a coffee break part of the way through.
Older children accompanied by an adult are welcome but unfortunately the walk is not suitable for children under 11, or dogs. There will be livestock on this route, including some inquisitive bullocks.
Meet in the Canons Ashby car park ready to walk at 9.55. The walk usually ends between 12.30pm and 1pm, depending on the speed of the walkers.
Please note, walks may need to be cancelled at short notice in the event of poor weather.
If you are intending to come into the property afterwards you will need to show your membership card or pay for admission. Parking for this walk is complimentary. At all other times parking is for paying visitors or members visiting the property.
