working in partnership with the RSPB Mid Nene Group, Lyveden will be taking part in 2026's Big Garden Birdwatch. Join us between 11-2 on the 24 and 25 January for a weekend dedicated to all things birds. Enjoy bird crafts, get hands on at the wildlife table and join the amazing team from the Mid Nene group on a bird watching walk around site.
There will also be plenty of opportunities to take part in the bird watch yourself, with volunteers on hand to help you find a good lookout spot and to assist with identifying species. What will you discover?

This event is held across site. Please speak to the staff at visitor reception upon arrival for details and where to go.
- What to bring and wear
Please dress appropriately for the weather, including outdoor clothes, waterproofs, walking shoes and wellies. If you have them, please bring binoculars.
- Accessibility
The craft station and wildlife table will be held in and around the manor building, which is located around 100m from the carpark and contained a lift. The bird watching walk will head around site and will include uneven terrain and grass. Please speak to the team for more information.
