Join us as we journey back to 1605 and discover Lyveden's close relation to the gunpowder plot. Francis Tresham, Thomas Tresham’s son, was one of the main plotters and played an important role in the unfolding scheme.
This year, take part in 2 different experiences to delve into the intrigue and mystery of the plot.
Gunpowder Tours (beginning at 11:15) - Learn about Francis Tresham’s life, his role in the plot, and how this shaped the future of Lyveden.
Gunpowder Debate (beginning at 14:00) - Become the jury for Francis Tresham, learning about the different theories surrounding his involvement in the plot before coming to your conclusion.
