Discovering Lace

Meet our expert lace makers and learn more about this wonderfully intricate craft.

  • Booking not needed
  • Free event (admission applies)

Lacemaking is an ancient and beautiful craft that is still going strong today especially in dedicated lace making groups.

Come and meet our enthusiastic local lace makers who can show you everything you need to know. Whether you are an experienced lace-maker looking for more inspiration or a beginner looking for help on how to get started, our lace making specialists will be able to help. Plus, a selection of second-hand lace and textile craft books will be on sale, if you want something to take home for more inspiration.
