Beginners Flower Arranging Workshop
Join us on Friday 2 May for a beginners flower arrangement workshop led by Louise & Deb, expert floral designers and Chelsea Gold Medallists with over 10 years of experience in creating stunning, nature-inspired arrangements.

In this beginners flower arranging class you will discover the joy of creating beautiful floral designs in a relaxed and encouraging environment. Perfect for building your confidence, this hands-on class covers all the basics, including choosing and conditioning fresh flowers, and arranging them in simple, yet stunning designs that will impress friends and family.
All materials and equipment will be provided. The workshop will last approximately 3hrs.
Class Highlights:
• A warm and encouraging atmosphere where participants can relax, learn, and be creative.
• Instruction in identifying and conditioning a variety of fresh flowers.
• Introduction to the principles and elements of floral design, with practical application.
• Step-by-step guidance through two different floral arrangements – including floral craft techniques and flower arranging skills.
• Education on flower selection: choosing the right types and the appropriate quantity for balance and harmony.
• Creative development: participants are encouraged to use their own style and not just follow a formula.
• Personal support throughout the session with plenty of tips and advice.
• Everyone leaves with two beautiful, hand-made arrangements they can take home and feel proud of.
Ticket holders for the workshop will be granted a 20% discount to use on a range of products in the tearoom including hot food, sandwiches, snacks, cakes and drinks. Please note that the tearoom closes at 4:30pm.

- Meeting point
From the car park, please enter through the Coach House where you will be greeted by the welcome team in the second-hand bookshop. The team will then guide you to where the workshop will take place.
- What to bring and wear
The event takes place indoors but we would recommend bringing an extra layer as the entrance is an external door.
- Accessibility
The workshop room is accessible with level floor and wall to wall carpet. Please get in contact with the property team to discuss your requirements. A full property accessibility statement is available on the National Trust Rufford Old Hall webpage.

The tearoom will be open from 10:30 - 16:30pm where you can purchase a selection of hot meals, sandwiches, cakes, snacks, hot and cold beverages. The booking telephone number is exclusively for booking tickets.
