Conservation Cleaning Tour and Breakfast at Rufford Old Hall
This Winter, enjoy a delicious breakfast before you experience Rufford Old Hall like never before with a behind the scenes tour of the house during conservation cleaning.
- Booking essential
- Admission applies
Each Winter, we close the doors of Rufford's historic hall for a season of conservation cleaning. This January and February join us for a warming breakfast in the tearoom, followed by a behind the scenes tour of the historic house during the Winter clean. Get to see the house from a new perspective and learn more about how we clean the precious historical objects in our care.
If you have enjoyed the 'conservation in action' stations during normal opening hours, you'll love this guided tour.
Please note, the tour will be taking place during vital cleaning work and will be shaped by the cleaning schedule of our staff and volunteers. Some rooms may be inaccessible due to the type of cleaning taking place.
Breakfast is a choice of bacon, sausage or egg barm. Please let us know of any additional dietary requirements. A regular hot drink is included in the price and can be ordered on the day.
Dogs and prams are not permitted inside the house.
This event takes place outside of typical Winter opening hours.
