Dementia-friendly sensory walks at Ham House and Garden

Join us for a free, hour-long guided sensory walk for people living with dementia and those who support or care for anyone living with dementia.

  • Booking essential
  • Free event

Book now for our monthly dementia-friendly walks and explore our gardens with support of our volunteer guides.

Designed to take in seasonal highlights, the tour is an opportunity to explore nature in a small group at a gentle pace. After the walk, participants can explore the house (open 11.30am–3.30pm, last entry 3pm) in their own time.

The walk is entirely step-free and there will be two on-site wheelchairs reserved for attendees to use.

Spaces are limited so booking in advance is essential. Each ticket includes one essential companion and free entry to Ham House and Garden.
