Harvest Festival, Sat 3 Oct, 11am-3.30pm

Celebrate the season at Morden Hall Park with apple pressing, Morris dancing, family crafts, performances and a community food collection for a local food bank.

  • Booking not needed
  • Free event

Join us for a day of autumn celebration at Morden Hall Park as we mark the harvest season with themed crafts, live performances and community displays.

Discover the journey from orchard to juice with apple pressing demonstrations. Enjoy folk music and dance from Black Swan Border Morris, alongside an interactive appearance from nature educator Professor Queen Bee. Families can take part in an indoor autumnal craft, while younger visitors can enjoy Punch and Judy shows with a nature-inspired twist.

The Wimbledon Beekeepers Association will be joining us with an exhibition celebrating the importance of pollinators, culminating in the announcement of their annual honey competition winners.

As part of the day's celebrations, we are also supporting Merton's Community Fridge, a local initiative run by Sustainable Merton that helps tackle food poverty and reduce food waste across the borough. Visitors are warmly invited to bring non-perishable food donations to support local people in need.

A full programme of timings and activity locations will be published nearer the event date.
