Zoolab Animal Encounter
Say hello to Morpho the Munching Millipede! This little critter travels through a week-long adventure, meeting a variety of exciting and awe-inspiring animals. Join Zoolab this February half-term for this face-to-face live animal encounter.

Meet the likes of Giant Snails, Spiders and Snakes in this fun encounter session. Most suitable for kids aged 3+ (must be accompanied by an adult).
This ticketed session will last 45 minutes and you’ll have an opportunity to get up-close and hands on with these creatures while learning all about them.
£8 for an adult ticket, £12 for a child ticket. Under 3s go free. Parking charge is £7.00 or free for NT members.
This activity is in the parkland area (the Stables) so you only need to buy a ticket for the Zoolab Animal Encounter and for parking if not an NT member. Entry to the House and Gardens is sold separately.

This event is suitable for people ages 3 and up.
- Meeting point
Buy your ticket online, or from the garden Kiosk on the day, and then meet in the Stables courtyard area. The activity takes place in the Grand Stables, adjacent to the Shop.
- What to bring and wear
This event is a historic building so the activity area might be a bit chilly! Please wear weather appropriate, warm clothing.
- Accessibility
This event is in an old cobbled Stables area on the ground floor. Please ask an attendant member of staff for support if in a wheelchair as the ground is uneven approaching the doorway.
- Other
Your Zoolab Animal Encounter ticket is for the event only and doesn’t include entry to the House and Gardens. This activity is in the parkland area (the Stables) so you only need to buy a ticket for the Zoolab Animal Encounter. Entry to the House and Gardens is sold separately. Remaining tickets available on the day for purchase at the garden Kiosk.
