Join Ranger Elissa as she helps rebuild the bug hotel ('The Bugs Arms') in the orchard at the entrance to the parkland. Can you lend a hand and help restore this important wildlife habitat?
From 11am–12pm, Elissa will also be giving a short talk about bug hotels, why they matter, and how you can create your own at home.
Free family event – no booking required. Simply drop in and stay for as long as you like. Standard parking charges apply (£5 per car; free for National Trust members).
Why not make a day of it? Hire a bike or explore the parkland on foot, enjoy a picnic in the orchard, or head into the Gardens for plenty of mini-beast themed Summer of Play activities and games, plus the Pokémon TCG Mega Evolution Trail.
