Join a guided walk through Felbrigg Estate, led by field recordist and musician Martin Scaiff.
Using specialist microphones, Martin will help you tune into the sounds of winter in extraordinary ways — from resident bird song, to the subtle sounds of underwater plants and animals, and to the mysterious soundscapes of soil and earth.
Each participant will be given their own recording equipment to capture nature-inspired soundscapes whilst exploring the landscape.
Whether you're a nature lover, a sound enthusiast, or simply curious, this immersive experience offers a fresh perspective on the environment around us.

The basics

Suitable for children aged 11+. An adult must accompany.
- Meeting point
Please meet at the map boards at the end of the car park.
- What to bring and wear
Sensible shoes and appropriate clothing for the weather conditions.
- Accessibility
Assistance dogs only. Suitable for mobility scooters and off-road wheelchairs. The walk takes place on a mixture of well maintained paths and some uneven ground.
