The Red List; an exhibition by Jayne Ivimey

With a focus on birds of conservation concern, The Red list exhibition by Environmental Artist Jayne Ivimey responds to Felbrigg’s existing historic collection through sculpture, drawing and photography, inviting you to look closely and thoughtfully at what we all see, and what we may no longer notice.

The exhibition’s central artwork of clay bird sculptures focuses on the 70 bird species identified of highest conservation concern in the UK. These birds have suffered significant population declines or face serious conservation challenges. Through sculpture, photography and drawing, Jayne's work explores what happens when species decline, how we remember and preserve the natural world, and why conservation matters.

General site admission applies, National Trust members enter for free. The exhibition is included in our standard admission price and there is no need to book in advance.

Please note The Red List exhibition is inside the House which is currently closed on Thursdays and Fridays.

Jayne Ivimey is an East Anglian artist whose work is inspired by the landscapes, wildlife and heritage of Norfolk and Suffolk. Since 2017, she has worked closely with museum collections, including Felbrigg's Bird Corridor, creating sculptures, photographs and drawings based on historic bird specimens.
