Dogs
Dogs must remain under close control at all times and on a lead between 1 March to 31 July. This helps to prevent disturbance to the many ground-nesting birds.
No designated disabled parking. No WCs. Hilly site with uneven paths not suitable for wheelchairs. Good phone signal.
By road
2½ miles south-east of Sheringham and 2½ miles south-west of Cromer. Approaching on the A148 from Cromer, turn right opposite the Roman Camp Inn. The entrance (off Sandy Lane) is about 850 yards on the left and is signposted.

This is the perfect place for a breezy walk along, or up and down, the hills of north Norfolk.

Look for the signs of a Napoleonic signal station, near to the car park.
