Join walk leaders Janet and Steven on a scenic walk from Crook Hall Gardens to Durham University's Oriental Museum, discovering the city's history as you go. Includes a 20 minute visit to the Oriental Museum (free entry).
This is a circular route, returning to Crook Hall Gardens at the end. It is approximately 4 miles/6.5km and will take around 2 hours.
Free, booking recommended. Walk-ins will be accepted on the day if capacity allows.
If you wish to visit Crook Hall Gardens before or after the walk, admission applies (free for National Trust members).

Meet in Crook Hall Gardens car park. Parking £3.30 up to 3 hours, free for National Trust members.

Sturdy walking shoes/boots, waterproofs and warm layers to suit changeable weather advised. Please bring a drink, plus a snack if needed.
- Accessibility
The route is on surfaced footpaths and includes some gentle inclines and road crossings. Suitable for anyone who is able to complete the distance on foot.
