Join Jason the ranger to find and identify the gardens' moth population, helping to build a picture of nature in Durham.
Drop by and stay for the whole evening, or just a little while - whatever suits you.
This event is free. Donations are very welcome and will go directly towards caring for Crook Hall Gardens and its wildlife.

The basics
- Suitability
Suitable for ages 8+. Children must be accompanied by an adult.
- Meeting point
Meet in the Crook Hall Gardens car park.
- What to bring and wear
Wrap up warm. Sturdy footwear advised.
- Accessibility
This event includes a short walk through the gardens. Parts of the gardens can be accessed in a wheelchair. Winding, narrow or uneven paths make some areas inaccessible to wheelchair users. Level access from the car park; from there, access to the main garden area is via an incline. If you have any questions about access, please get in contact.

Please note, finding moths is dependent on the right conditions; this event may be cancelled at short notice due to adverse weather.
