Join florist Debbie from the Northern Flower Garden, for a Christmas floral workshop.

Debbie's expertise and creativity make these workshops a real treat for anyone keen to learn something new. Each session is a standalone experience, perfect for a day out with friends or a chance to try your hand at a new craft.
Each workshop will teach you something new about floral design. Across the festive season you can join:
• Saturday 28 November – design a traditional Christmas wreath on a fully mossed frame with a choice of decorative elements. Duration up to 3 hours.
• Saturday 12 December – try an introduction into flower arranging by creating a Christmas door swag. Duration 1 to 2 hours.
With only 10 places per workshop, you’ll get plenty of hands on guidance in a relaxed, friendly setting. Each workshop lasts up to 2 hours, with wreath workshops lasting up to 3 hours. Your ticket includes a drink, a baked treat and entry to Gibside, making it the perfect creative day out surrounded by nature.

There is an inclined walk up to the Stables. Trampers are available to hire by calling 07712 535938. A volunteer-driven mobility bus may also be available for shuttles. A staff-operated access lift to the first floor of the Stables is available, please email gibside@nationaltrust.org.uk 48hrs before your visit if you have any access requirements.

Be welcomed by Visitor Reception and head up to Gibside Stables where you'll be signposted to your workshop.

It is around a 20 minute walk to Gibside Stables, please arrive to Gibside atleast 30 minutes before your workshop begins. Entry into Gibside is included as part of your experience but we ask members to scan their cards, as it helps support our conservation work.
