Visit Seaton Delaval Hall this festive period to see a Christmas inspired by its Georgian past. Enjoy seasonal delights including live music, festive decorations, sparkling lights, crafts, winter wanders and more. Don't miss the show-stopping giant bauble suspended in the Entrance Hall.
Wrap up warm and join us for two special evenings of extended opening hours as we keep the hall open until 8pm. No need to book, bring your family, meet your friends and enjoy an evening of Christmas magic at Seaton Delaval Hall. See the Hall’s north front beautifully lit, then step inside to admire a giant suspended bauble in the Entrance Hall, plus Christmas decorations in the Saloon, Stables, and West Wing. Enjoy live festive music, get creative with family crafts in the Stables Workshop, and warm up with seasonal treats from the Brewhouse.
Please be aware that access is focused on the hall's indoor spaces including the Saloon, Entrance Hall, Stables and West Wing. This is not a light show and the gardens are not accessible.

Can you complete all of Robin’s winter challenges on a festive adventure around Seaton Delaval Hall? Track down the Christmas reindeer, hunt for hidden festive baubles around the gardens, and step onto the Baroque stage for a panto challenge surrounded by magical, hand-painted winter scenery.

Fridays, 11am-1pm, 28 November to 19 December
Designed especially for under-5s, these relaxed drop-in sessions are a joyful way to make decorations for the tree or a handmade gift for someone special.

There's nothing like the sound of Christmas carols to get you into the spirit of the festive season, so join us on Saturdays for a selection of familiar favourites. Performances will take place in the Stables, so you can enjoy them whatever the weather!

Join us for a magical and musical festive treat with live music from the North East's leading string quartet. Performances will take place on the Baroque stage in the West Wing, complete with traditional wintery scenery and plenty of festive sparkle.

There's lots of festive treats to enjoy from the Brewhouse this Christmas, and whether you're looking for turkey sandwiches with the trimmings, a seasonal sweet treat or a warming hot chocolate, the Brewhouse is the ideal location to warm up after your day (or evening!) out... with no washing up at the end!

Extended opening: Friday 12 and Saturday 13 December, until 8pm.
General opening: Wednesday – Sunday, 10am – 4pm, buildings open 11am, last admission 3:15pm, last admission to buildings 3:30pm, Brewhouse café closes 3:30pm, site closes 4pm.
