Brilliant Bats: Bat walk at Wallington

Learn all about the brilliant bats that call this place home before heading outside with bat detectors to hear them emerging into the courtyard.

Join the Ranger team for a presentation on the nine different species of bat that make Wallington their home and then head out at dusk to watch them emerging from their roosts. Walk into the woods, using the detectors to listen out for the different species including Daubentons over the pond.

Meeting point

Meet a member of the Wallington team at Visitor Welcome who will then direct you to the Clocktower café. Please arrive 10 minutes before the event start time.

Suitability for children

Suitable for over 10s. Under 18s must be accompanied by an adult ticket holder

What to bring and wear

Dress for the indoors and outdoors. Please wear sturdy footwear as we will be walking through the woods in the dark.
