Great Big Green Week at Wallington
Join a day of celebrating positive steps being take to tackle climate change and encourage nature renewal across the North East as part of Great Big Green Week and meet conservation organisations from across the region all working hard to make a difference.
On Saturday 17 June, join a number of conservation groups and organisations who are all doing incredible work in their own specialist areas to have a positive impact. There will be information, interactive stands and opportunities to get involved or just take home an idea of something you can do. Take part in a walled garden bioblitz, listen to live music or write a letter to tomorrow.
We are lucky to be supported on the day by Northumberland County Council Climate change team, Durham Wildlife Trust, Wild Intrigue, Red Squirrels Northern England, Northumberland Peat Partnership, Butterfly conservation, Northumbrian Water and Wilder Wallington, to name but a few.
