September 2025 marks 70 years since the significant refurbishment of Washington Old Hall, making the building accessible to the public.
What are your memories of Washington Old Hall? When did you first visit? Have you volunteered or worked here? Did you attend a wedding here, or a particular event?
Washington Heritage Partnership will record people’s memories of their lives in connection with this unique place. We’d like to hear from you, whatever your age, wherever you live, and whether you’ve been connected with the Old Hall for decades or you’ve only just discovered it. You may think your recollections are quite ordinary, but we often find that they are quite extraordinary to people who’ve not experienced a place and time in the same way.
