Join me and learn the traditional heritage craft of willow weaving in the magnificent surroundings of Castle Coole in a cosy room in The Grand Yard.
Explore the creative side of basketry in this unique workshop focused on crafting an Asymmetric willow basket. Learn traditional weaving techniques to make this beautiful basket with a modern rustic twist. You will learn how to work with natural willow to create a one-of-a kind basket that celebrates organic forms and flowing lines.
I will bring some Hazel sticks with me for handles but if you have your own favourite stick that you would like to use as the handle then bring it along.
Cost £80pp. Includes all materials and refreshments. Tea, coffee and biscuits.
