Seaweed Pressing Workshop - Thursday 23rd July - 11.00am - 1.00pm £65.00 per person Limit 10 participants Join Ann in the beautiful surroundings of Castle Ward, on the shores of Strangford Lough, for a relaxing workshop exploring the art of seaweed pressing.
Discover the Victorian practice of preserving seaweed specimens and learn how to create your own beautiful botanical pressings. During the workshop, she will guide you through the process of selecting and pressing seaweed, sharing tips on responsible foraging and identifying specimens suitable for pressing.
The workshop will take place in the Trail Head, located in the farmyard beside the estate's back gate. Parking is available in the Shore Car Park.
