A Summer of Play at Rowallane Garden
Are you ready for a Summer of Play at Rowallane Garden. Your adventure starts here.
- Booking not needed
- Free event (admission applies)
This year, we’re bringing even more excitement, colour, and adventure for families and kids to enjoy nature through play. Whether you're a budding artist, an aspiring athlete, or a nature explorer, there’s something for everyone!
Families can dive into Active Play in the Pleasure Ground, with plenty of fun activities like badminton and extra equipment added this year to welcome all ages. In the Stableyard, kids can step onto the new Performance Play stage, grab inflatable instruments and microphones, and put on their own shows or enjoy the refreshed puppet theatre. Over at the Greenhouse, Creative Play comes alive with colourful arts and crafts sessions, set against a bright, festival-themed backdrop. Explore and Play invites young adventurers to test their skills on revamped balance beams and enjoy imaginative features like a brand-new mud kitchen. In the Wider Tea Garden, Loose Parts Play offers giant games like snakes and ladders under a vibrant multicoloured tent, ensuring the fun continues rain or shine.
Summer of Play is sponsored by Starling Bank and Sport England.
