Festival of Archaeology at Gunby Estate, Hall and Gardens - Artifacts Day
Whether you’re an archaeological amateur, enthusiast or a budding Indiana Jones, join us to discover more about Gunby and its layered past.
- Booking not needed
- Free event (admission applies)
Gunby Estate, Hall and Gardens is proud to be taking part in the Festival of Archaeology this summer. The festival is the biggest archaeological celebration in the UK, organised by the Council for British Archaeology (CBA).
Join us on either day in the courtyard to see and touch some fascinating artifacts from the wider estate. Can you determine what they were and when they were used? For little ones, you'll be able to experience a mini archaeological dig and find pieces of a forgotten terracotta pot. Can you piece them together to create a pot?
