An 'Ode to the Garden' Photography Competition
International Garden Photographer of the Year (IGPOTY) has partnered with National Trust Gunby Estate, Hall and Gardens to launch a special photography award as part of IGPOTY 20.

Photographers are invited to capture the beauty of Gunby's gardens and parkland, with images featuring plants, wildlife or nature set within the historic estate. Entries can be taken in any season and from any year, provided they were captured at Gunby.
Winning images will be exhibited at the IGPOTY 20 exhibition at Gunby in 2027, with prizes including IGPOTY certificates, event tickets and exclusive Gunby experiences.
'An Ode to the Garden' (Special Award) Category prizes:
First Place prize: • IGPOTY award certificate. • Your awarded image goes on display at the IGPOTY 20 exhibition at NT Gunby in 2027. • Special prizes supplied by NT Gunby; Cream tea, garden tour and behind-the-scenes tour of the house with the Gunby Team (date in 2027 to be mutually agreed), • 2 tickets to NT Belton Estate’s Winter Lights trail (2027), • 2 tickets to NT Gunby’s Christmas event (2027). Second and Third Place prize: • IGPOTY award certificate. • Your awarded image goes on display at the IGPOTY 20 exhibition at NT Gunby in 2027. • Special prizes supplied by NT Gunby; • 2 tickets to NT Belton Estate’s Winter Lights trail (2027), • 2 tickets to NT Gunby’s Christmas event (2027).
Up to eight images may be entered per person. Images must not include people and National Trust employees are not eligible to enter. Entry fees and competition terms apply.
