The basics

Children are welcome but must be accompanied by an adult at all times.
- Meeting point
If travelling by car, please park in the car park opposite the house, on the right hand side of Blyth Grove. Please meet in the house reception in No.5.
- What to bring and wear
No bags are allowed into the historic house. We have secure locked cupboards in reception where your belongings can be kept whilst you are on your tour.
- Accessibility
Mr Straw's House has no flat access points. There are multiple steps in and out of each of the houses and three steep flights of stairs in each house. Handrails are provided.
- Other
Please note during the tour you will be stood throughout and will have to climb and descend several flights of steep stairs. Some chairs are available should you need assistance. Please speak to your guide. Reception is in No 5 Blyth Grove which is located on the left side of Blyth Grove, the number is on the fence and there is an oakleaf in the central window.
