Step into nature and enjoy a beautiful walk through the reserve and along the golden sands of Moggs Eye Beach with our friendly volunteer walk leaders. Taking place on the second Monday of each month, this 5-mile stroll is the perfect way to soak up the summer sunshine, feel the sea breeze on your face, and take in the stunning coastal views.
Prefer a gentler pace? A shorter route is available, so you can enjoy the walk in a way that suits you best.
This walk is free, but if you’d like to make a donation, we’d be truly grateful. Every contribution helps us care for Sandilands.
Well-behaved dogs on short leads are welcome to join the adventure.
Times
The basics
- Meeting point
Meet our volunteer walk leaders near the carpark at 10am.
- What to bring and wear
Suitable outdoor clothing and sturdy walking boots or shoes are recommended. We'd advise bringing a drink too.
- Accessibility
Expect some inclines and uneven terrain, which may be muddy in places following wet weather.
