Joanna Pass - Meet the Artist Day
Celebrate a remarkable milestone at Tattershall Castle by meeting Joanna Pass, the artist/printmaker of the centenary print, Across the Moat.
- Booking not needed
- Free event (admission applies)
Marking 100 years of National Trust care, this special artwork commemorates the moment Tattershall Castle officially passed into Trust ownership on 6 March 1926, fulfilling Lord Curzon’s vision of preserving the site for future generations. Joanna Pass brings the castle’s unique harmony of heritage and wildlife to life through her hand crafted linocut. Inspired by time spent sketching and observing the moat, grounds, and resident wildlife, her design captures great crested newts, dragonflies, bees, swans and more, all framed by the majestic Great Tower. Subtle references to the area’s Battle of Britain history enrich the composition.
Come along and meet Joanna on this special day and view this stunning piece and many more. The centenary print is printed entirely by hand on Somerset cotton paper, each signed piece offers a beautiful, lasting tribute to this treasured landscape. Purchase your print for £60.00 at www.joannapass.co.uk and take home a piece of Tattershall’s centenary story.
