Woolsthorpe is now closed for the winter

Please note, Woolsthorpe is now closed and will reopen in February 2024. We'd like to take this opportunity to say thank you to everyone who has visited and supported this special place. The winter closure at Woolsthorpe provides the house team the opportunity to complete a deep clean of the house and collection as well as conduct much needed conservation repair work. We're looking forward to welcoming you back in 2024.

We're adapting the way we open up the Manor House, to make it easier for you to choose between a guided tour or timed entry free flow. During school holidays, bank holidays and weekends, the Manor House will be open for timed entry only.

You do not need to book to visit the rest of the site. Please note, Woolsthorpe Manor is closed on Tuesdays and Wednesdays. If you'd like to visit the Manor House, please read below for more information.

Woolsthorpe Manor will be closed for the winter from Monday 6 November.
