Booking your Manor House visit

Visit the place where Isaac Newton changed the world. You don't need to book to visit over the school summer holidays from 20 July. Here’s some more information about visiting the Manor and what to expect when you arrive.

Important information:

  • During school holidays, bank holidays and weekends, the Manor House will be open for timed entry only.
  • You do not need to book to visit Woolsthorpe Manor during the school summer holidays.
  • Please note, Woolsthorpe Manor is closed on Tuesdays and Wednesdays.
  • Last entry to site is 4pm.

Visiting from Saturday 20 July?

The Manor House will be open for non-bookable free flow only for the school summer holidays. You can pick up a timed entry ticket when you arrive.

On Fridays and Saturdays, we will be running an interactive family tour of the Manor at 12.30pm - 1.30pm. Explore the Manor House on an interactive family tour and discover more about young Isaac’s life on the farm. Step inside his Chamber where he used a prism to split light into rainbow colours and stand at the window to see the apple tree in the historic orchard. Book on arrival - first come, first served.

Need to cancel?

If you set up an account when you made your booking, you will be able to amend the date or time of your booking online up to 24 hours before the date of your visit, or by calling 0344 249 1895. If you can no longer attend, please let us know by giving us a call on the same number. This will allow someone else to book a ticket in your place.

When you arrive

  • On arrival, you’ll be greeted by a member of the team. If you have a tour booking, please have your ticket ready either on your phone or a printed copy.
  • If you’re a member, you’ll need to show your membership card.
  • Please arrive in good time for your tour or timed entry slot.
