Start point
The trail starts a little way up the road near the mansion house.
Stage 1
Head through the gate on the right hand side of the road as you walk away from the mansion house. This takes you into the Pheasant park (What3Words gate location ///faces.grazes.fluffed)
Stage 2
Make your way across the field, crossing the causeway and bearing left towards the gate at the top of the field.
Stage 3
Pass through the gate and enter the first part of the woodland and follow the path.
Stage 4
When you come to the fork in the path, bear left and skirt the woodland. Exit the field through the gate which takes you back onto the road [no - the path is outside the field, alongside the fence]. Keep following this until you reach the start point. (Alternatively, if you find that path too narrow, continue a little further on the main path and that will take you to the road.
End point
The end location is back on the road in front of the Mansion House where you started from.
