    Start point

    Buscot Village car park - SN7 8DA

    Stage 1

Turn right out of Buscot carpark and follow the road down to Buscot Weir Pool. Follow the track round to the left of the weir pool and turn right down a small track before the boat club. You will pass Lock Cottage on your right, then cross the bridge to the other side of the river. Follow the path and the arrows round to the right to join the Thames footpath.

    Stage 2

Follow the Thames path with the river on your left until you get to a bridge. Stay on the same side of the river and follow the arrows left, up the side of a farmed field. When you get to the end of this field, turn right and follow the track towards Kelmscott village. Follow the village through the main road. You are now off National Trust land.

    Stage 3

Follow the public footpath back round to re-join the Thames path. When you get back to the bridge, cross over the river Thames and follow the arrows through the Anchor Boat Club.

    Stage 4

Follow the track down through Kilmester farm for one field, then follow the arrow right along the track, with a hedge on your left. Continue through the next 2 fields, until you reach the road.

    Stage 5

Turn right down a track at the main road, for about 200m, then turn left onto the footpath. Follow this footpath back through to Buscot Weir field. When you arrive back at Buscot weir field, turn left back down the track towards the car park.
